Automatically control lights or appliances when doors open and close with the INSTEON wireless open/close sensor. These units are battery operated (single AA battery) and completely wireless.
When the door/window/cabinet opens,Ā the controlled device turns on.Ā When it closes, the device turns off.
It can also trigger an event through an automation controller like the ISY/EISYĀ for more advanced control, timers and more.
You can also wire additional sensors (such as VIP100) to a single 2843-222 to monitor multiple doors/windows with a single sensor.
As this is a wireless device, it can link directly to a dual band device or relay to a powerline only device through any Insteon dual band device or repeater.
