Global Cache Ethernet To Infrared and Serial Controller

Global Caché GC-100-06 provides hard wired Ethernet control of  3 infrared emitter ports and a RS-232 serial port, for monitoring and control of AV and other equipment over a network and the Internet.  Based on open standards, the  GC-100 can easily be integrated in to a home automation system or controlled by PC or iPhone/iPod/iPad control applications.

Each infrared port can be configured individually as an IR output or a sensor input for sensing a DVD or video player’s video output, voltage sensing or contact closure sensing by adding the appropriate sensor devices.  Infrared input can be achieved by adding GC-IRE and GC-RG1
