The Hubitat Elevation C8 smart home hub supports ZWave, Zigbee and over 1,000 smart home devices from more than 100 brands.
New for 2023, the Hubitat C8 has built in ZWave 800, Zigbee 3.0, with WiFi and Ethernet on board. As of the end of 2023, Matter over IP support has been added.
Hubitat Elevation C8 stores your device information and programming locally for speed and privacy. Your data stays private and rules are executed in the hub not in the cloud.
That doesn’t mean Hubitat doesn’t support the cloud – in fact Hubitat provides free cloud service with iOS and Android apps available. Hubitat C8 integrates with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Echo and Google Home.
VOICE ASSISTANTS & IFTTT
Hubitat Elevation C8 supports Google Home, Alexa voice assitants and HomeKit. It also has built in support for IFTTT to connect with many other platforms.
ZIGBEE & ZWAVE
The new C8 version uses a series 800 ZWave chip to support the newest ZWave devices while maintaining backwards compatibility with ZWave Plus, ZWave 700 and older devices.
OTHER DEVICES
Integrate devices from a multitude of brands including Philips Hue, Lutron Caseta, RadioRA2 and more. Appropriate bridges will be required & sold separately.

RULES & CUSTOMIZATION
The “Rule Machine” creates automation rules that can be simple or complex. Take advantage of user-written 3rd party plug-in apps to expand functionality even further. WebCoRE support is also included.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Hubitat Elevation is a powerful smart hub designed for tech savvy users and technically inclined installers. It requires your customization out of the box to make it work for you. It is aimed for those who are looking for advanced integrations and are willing to invest the time to set it up.
WARRANTY
Hubitat’s warranty is 90 days but as an Aartech Canada customer you will receive an extended warranty for a full 6 months.
